An information providing apparatus according to an embodiment comprises: a generation unit configured to generate a model that generates an answer to a prompt input by a user, the model being generated by learning a data source provided from a provider that satisfies conditions relating to reliability; a providing unit configured to provide the answer generated by the model to the user; and a billing unit configured to charge the user a usage fee according to a value of the answer.
