Abstract

A method for PLMN/cell selection or reselection based on the feeder link availability is provided. A system and a method for managing a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) selection, cell selection and/or reselection for a Store and Forward (S&F) mode in a wireless network system is provided. The method comprises the UE determining that a first cell supports S&F mode and a feeder link is unavailable. The UE performs a PLMN selection, a cell selection, and/or a cell reselection in the wireless network system to search for a second cell, wherein the feeder link is available on the second cell and a network apparatus associated with the UE is able to provide normal services to the UE.

What is claimed is:

A method for PLMN/cell selection or reselection based on the feeder link availability is provided. A system and a method for managing a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) selection, cell selection and/or reselection for a Store and Forward (S&F) mode in a wireless network system is provided.
