Abstract
A disclosed method may include receiving, by a server of a mobile operator across a first channel, a first International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) in an initial Non-Access Stratum (NAS) message from a User Equipment (UE) in which an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) embedded the first IMSI such that a second IMSI that the mobile operator provisioned to a subscriber is protected by the first IMSI initially substituting for the second IMSI.

What is claimed is:
