/Distributed Messaging Communication System Integrated With A Cross-entity Collaboration Platform
Abstract

A computer-implemented integration service detects an event corresponding to an operation performed on an object in a multi-tenant environment. Based on the event and a tenant identifier, the service selects an orchestration comprising an ordered sequence of operations and executes the sequence. Execution includes evaluating at least one condition using object data, constructing and transmitting a request to an external system, and receiving a response from the external system. Constructing the request includes performing variable substitution within at least one of a request URL, a request header, or a request body. The response is parsed to extract at least one value, and the extracted value is stored as an orchestration variable accessible to a subsequent operation of the orchestration.
