Abstract
Composition and its use for use treating optical redness and discomfort, the composition preferably having a viscosity about the same as water (e.g. 1-25 cps), an osmolality of 240-260 mOsm, and containing 0.1% to 2.5% wt/wt chondroitin sulfate, and an agent that reduces eye redness. Optical redness and discomfort is treated by topically administering a therapeutically effective amount of the composition to a subject's eye(s) suffering from the optical redness and discomfort.

What is claimed is:
