The apparatus for press detection comprises: a circuit board, a bracket, and a plurality of sensors; wherein a sensor comprises a first electrode disposed on a bottom surface of the circuit board and a second electrode connected to the bottom surface of the circuit board, a first accommodating groove is provided in a region around the sensor on the bottom surface of the circuit board; the bracket is fixed on a housing of the electronic device, and abuts against the second electrode; when the apparatus for press detection receives a pressing operation, the second electrode is configured to deform, such that each of the sensors generates a press signal; and the circuit board transmits the press signal to a control unit to enable the control unit to perform press detection based on the press signal.
