/Charged-state Lithium-ion Batteries Constructed Using Lithium-free Binary Fe/mn-based Cathode Materials
Abstract

A lithium-ion battery includes a lithium-free cathode, a lithiated anode, and a separator/electrolyte between the lithium-free cathode and the lithiated anode. The lithium-free cathode includes a composite of FeOF and MnO2. According to an implementation, the FeOF are in the form of nanorods. According to an implementation, the MnO2 are in the form of monolayer nanosheets.
