An adaptor for percutaneous anchoring of a wire lead component of an electrical nerve stimulation assembly, the adaptor incorporating a left jaw having a proximal end, a distal end, and right side; a right jaw having a proximal end, a distal end, and a left side; a hinge interconnecting the proximal ends of the left and right jaws; at least a first lateral channel extending through the left and right jaws; and longitudinal channels for holding the wire lead component between the left and right jaws; the adapter incorporating at least a first screw received within the at least first lateral channel; the adapter incorporating a second longitudinally extending channel opening toward the at least first longitudinally extending channel, and incorporating a plurality of friction ridges, wherein each friction ridge extends into one of the longitudinally extending channels.
