The method includes: when a mode in the application processing interface is a component development mode, displaying a component project file stored in a component directory file; obtaining, through configuration in response to a configuration operation for template component source code in the component project file, a source code invocation statement configured for invoking a service component, and generating component configuration source code by using the template component source code and the source code invocation statement; and publishing the service component constructed by using the component configuration source code, and constructing a second application on the multi-end application platform by using an application project file, a second toolkit, and the service component, the second application, when run, invoking the service component by using the second toolkit, to execute a component service.
