The present invention offers compositions and methods of infusing antibacterial and antiviral polyethlyenimine compounds into materials conventionally used for medical devices and medical tools, including such materials as vinyl, polyvinylchloride, latex, rubber, silicone and plastic materials, and thereby enhancing the safety and antiviral properties of such medical equipment.
