Abstract
A pump for a washing machine has a pump chamber with an inflow, with an outflow and with a pump chamber bottom, an impeller for conveying water inside the pump chamber, and optionally several flow guide vanes radially outside the impeller which are fixedly arranged and extend helically towards the pump chamber bottom. The pump is designed as a centrifugal pump. In accordance with the invention, at least one arched or curved guide blade is arranged either on at least one flow guide vane or on a support ring below of impeller.

What is claimed is:
A pump for a washing machine has a pump chamber with an inflow, with an outflow and with a pump chamber bottom, an impeller for conveying water inside the pump chamber, and optionally several flow guide vanes radially outside the impeller which are fixedly arranged and extend helically towards the pump chamber bottom. The pump is designed as a centrifugal pump.
