A laundry treatment apparatus (a clothing processing apparatus) includes: a cabinet; a tub provided inside the cabinet; a drum which is rotatably provided inside the tub and provides a space for storing clothing that is supplied via a tub inlet; a base which is provided in a ring shape surrounding the center of rotation of the drum and fixed to the drum; a balancer provided with a first surface, which is provided in a ring shape along the outer edge of the base, a second surface, which is provided in a ring shape along the inner edge of the base and forms a circulation path together with the base and the first surface, and a ball, which can move along the circulation path; and a fastening part which is provided in the base and fixes the balancer to the drum.
