Abstract

A cable connector includes an accommodating housing, a cable module and a first retaining bar. The accommodating housing defines accommodating space. The cable module is at least partially received in the accommodating space. The cable module includes a cable block, a metal shield enclosure at least partially sleeved on the cable block, and a fixing block fixed to the cable block and the metal shield enclosure. The first retaining bar is inserted into the accommodating housing. The first retaining bar abuts against the cable module and is configured to prevent the cable module from being disengaged from the accommodating housing. A connector assembly including the cable connector is also disclosed.

What is claimed is:

A cable connector includes an accommodating housing, a cable module and a first retaining bar. The accommodating housing defines accommodating space. The cable module is at least partially received in the accommodating space. The cable module includes a cable block, a metal shield enclosure at least partially sleeved on the cable block, and a fixing block fixed to the cable block and the metal shield enclosure. The first retaining bar is inserted into the accommodating housing. The first retaining bar abuts against the cable module and is configured to prevent the cable module from being disengaged from the accommodating housing. A connector assembly including the cable connector is also disclosed.
