An animal-mounted container distribution system comprises an animal-worn support structure secured to an animal and a plurality of resilient engagement members mounted along at least one lateral region thereof. Each resilient engagement member comprises a resilient body defining an open gap and a curved receiving region configured to flex or deflect upon insertion of a portion of a container and return to partially encircle and releasably retain the container portion in an exposed position in which at least a portion of the container is visible and manually graspable without opening a flap, cover, closure, pouch, pocket, or enclosure. The engagement members are mounted along rigid or semi-rigid support members, with upper and lower support members on each lateral side interconnected by flexible coupling members. An adjustable strap suspension mechanism permits tool-free vertical adjustment and selective removal of the lower support member. Modular decorative panels are interchangeable with the container assembly.
