Abstract

A load position verification system for a material handling vehicle includes a first arm arranged between a first fork of the material handling vehicle and a second fork of the material handling vehicle, a second arm arranged between the first fork of the material handling vehicle and the second fork of the material handling vehicle, and at least one sensor arranged within at least one of the first arm or the second arm. The at least one sensor indicates to the load position verification system that no load is on the first fork and the second fork when the at least one sensor is in a first state and indicates to the load position verification system that a load is on the first fork and the second fork when the at least one sensor is in a second state.

What is claimed is:

A load position verification system for a material handling vehicle includes a first arm arranged between a first fork of the material handling vehicle and a second fork of the material handling vehicle, a second arm arranged between the first fork of the material handling vehicle and the second fork of the material handling vehicle, and at least one sensor arranged within at least one of the first arm or the second arm. The at least one sensor indicates to the load position verification system that no load is on the first fork and the second fork when the at least one sensor is in a first state and indicates to the load position verification system that a load is on the first fork and the second fork when the at least one sensor is in a second state.
