A modular rack system for transporting bicycles and snow sports equipment within a truck bed is provided. The system includes a base positioned on the truck bed floor, having a lower frame portion configured to receive and secure bicycle wheels in an upright position. The lower frame portion includes both vertically and horizontally extending support members. An upper frame portion is detachably coupled to the lower frame portion and extends upwardly. Both the upper and lower vertical support members have a plurality of openings formed therethrough. A plurality of brackets are detachably mounted to the upper frame portion via a first set of openings to securely support snow sports equipment. At least one pin is adjustably mounted to a second set of openings, extending horizontally toward a side wall of the truck bed for lateral stability and reducing sway.
