A power tool includes a housing, a motor positioned within the housing, a controller electrically coupled to the motor, a sensor electrically coupled to the controller, and a transmission coupled to the motor. The transmission includes a ring gear and a torque transducer coupled to the ring gear. The torque transducer is configured to transmit a torque value to the controller. The power tool further includes an impulse assembly coupled to the transmission assembly to receive torque therefrom. The controller is configured to receive a target criteria value. The controller is configured to monitor a sensed parameter from the sensor and determine whether a fastener has been seated based on comparing the sensed parameter to the target criteria value. The controller is configured to stop operation of the motor in response to the sensed parameter being determined to be substantially equal to target criteria.
