One method includes determining configuration information comprising a plurality of instances of a physical downlink shared channel configuration parameter. The method includes transmitting the configuration information to a user equipment, wherein: the physical downlink shared channel configuration parameter is used for a physical downlink shared channel scheduled by downlink control information; the downlink control information is transmitted from a set of resources having a corresponding index of a plurality of indexes; and each index corresponds to an instance of the plurality of instances of the physical downlink shared channel configuration parameter.
