Abstract
A fuel assembly comprising includes an end plug, a tie plate, and a cylindrical plate. The cylindrical plate includes a protruding spring and a plurality of support protrusions on an outer side of the cylindrical plate such that the protruding portion and the plurality of support protrusions face an inner wall surface of the tie plate. The protruding spring, the plurality of support protrusions, and an inner wall of an insertion hole formed in the tie plate constitute a support structure configured to support the end plug in a lateral direction.

What is claimed is:
A fuel assembly comprising includes an end plug, a tie plate, and a cylindrical plate.
