This application provides a palm contour extraction method performed by a computer device. The method includes: dividing palm bone points in a target palm image into palm bone point sets based on their corresponding bone point positions and the bone point types, each set having a corresponding geometry processing type; determining palm contour points from the palm bone point sets based on their respective geometry processing type; generating palm contour auxiliary lines respectively corresponding to the palm bone point sets based on the bone point positions of the palm bone point sets, each palm contour auxiliary line matching a geometry processing type of a corresponding palm bone point set; determining a plurality of palm contour points from the plurality of palm contour auxiliary lines based on their respective geometry processing types; and generating a palm contour corresponding to the target palm image based on the palm contour points.
