Production data is acquired from a data acquiring device for a production activity where units of output are generated by a machine. A unit of output based earnings rate data for a team member tasked with performing the production activity with the machine is retrieved from a database. An evaluated earnings rate for is generated on an ongoing basis during the production activity is underway by multiplying the production data with the output based earnings rate for the team member. A graphic is displayed and updated at an electronic display to represent the evaluated earnings rate, the graphic being automatically selected from a plurality of graphics associated with thresholds evaluated earnings rates, and the selected graphic is associated with a highest surpassed one of the thresholds based on a most recently determined evaluated earnings rate.
