/Systems And Methods For Controlling Tailpipe Exhaust Emissions
Abstract

A method of controlling an aftertreatment system includes receiving a first input target and a first threshold associated with a first aftertreatment system component; receiving a second threshold associated with a second aftertreatment system component; responsive to the first threshold being greater than the second threshold, determining a second input target that is at or below the first threshold and at or above the second threshold, the second input target associated with a third aftertreatment system component; receiving a nitrous oxide value; determining a first output target based on at least the first input target, the second input target, and the nitrous oxide value; and controlling the aftertreatment system based on the first output target.
