/Wireless Device Paging
Abstract

A wireless device, in a radio resource control (RRC) non-connected state, receives a paging message from a base station via a paging channel. The paging message indicates a configured uplink grant, an offset time, and at least one monitoring configuration. The at least one monitoring configuration comprises a monitoring identity. The wireless device monitors, based on the monitoring identity, a downlink channel to identify a downlink message that indicates the offset time and the configured uplink grant associated with the monitoring identity. The wireless device determines timing information of the configured uplink grant for transmission of an uplink packet. The timing information comprises the offset time from a reception time of the paging message. The wireless device transmits the uplink packet based on the timing information and the configured uplink grant.
