/Long Interframe Space And Enhanced Reverse Direction Protocol For Low Latency Transmission
Abstract

A wireless device to function as a first station in a wireless network may include a radio frequency transceiver, a memory device storing a set of instructions, and a processor coupled to the memory device. The set of instructions when executed by the processor causes the first station to wirelessly receive a frame from a second station in the wireless network, where the frame includes a low latency transmission indication indicating that the first station is allowed to sublease a transmission opportunity to wirelessly transmit a data frame to the second station during the transmission opportunity. Responsive to determining that the frame includes the low latency transmission indication, the set of instructions wirelessly transmit a combined block acknowledgement and data frame to the second station during the transmission opportunity.
