Abstract

Provided is a fire control mechanism for a semi-automatic firearm having a reciprocating action that includes a trigger member with a trigger bow and a safety selector configured to move between a safe position and a forced reset position. When the safety selector is in the forced reset position, a rearward motion of the reciprocating action causes the trigger member to be reset against rearward pressure applied to the trigger bow, the safety selector is configured to prevent actuation of the trigger member during at least a portion of movement of the reciprocating action, and the trigger member can be actuated when the reciprocating action returns to a forward position

What is claimed is:

Provided is a fire control mechanism for a semi-automatic firearm having a reciprocating action that includes a trigger member with a trigger bow and a safety selector configured to move between a safe position and a forced reset position.
