The camera unit and a first identification assembly are disposed on the front side of the cleaning device at different heights. The cleaning device further includes at least one topography detection assembly configured to detect a topography of the to-be-cleaned surface under the device body. In this way, environment sensing capability of the cleaning device can be improved, and therefore, the cleaning device can be controlled more precisely.
