/Upon further exploration, participants were asked about their familiarity with various open science practices when writing their study. The majority of participants expressed being 'very familiar' with the practice of open access (n=173, 65.53%). Only 2.64% of respondents (n=7) claimed to not be familiar with open access. Additionally, participants were also 'very familiar' with the open science practices of preprints (n=106, 40.93%), registration (n=112, 43.08%), and reporting guidelines (n=124, 47.69%). Respondents were relatively evenly divided between 'very familiar' or 'moderately familiar' for the practices of open data (n=81, 31.15% and n=72, 27.69%, respectively), and participant and public involvement (n=77, 29.73%, and n=69, 26.64%, respectively). Open material practices were the least familiar among all open science practices, with participants ranging from being slightly familiar (n=47, 18.22%), to having only 20.93% (n=54) of participants being very familiar with the practice. Furthermore, open material had the highest percentage of respondents who claimed to be 'not at all familiar' with the practice, with a value of 15.12% (n=39).
