/Be cautious with over-persuasion. Visuals were deemed important in many settings, but it is worth first noting that there was a hesitancy to their use by a few individuals. One interviewee expressed concern that 'models can be very persuasive to people who are not modellers'. With lots of wonderful coloured moving maps, 'it is very hard for people not to believe they are true'. This was reciprocated by other respondents who noted that 'graphs are always seen as a prediction by non-modellers'. Advice was given on interpreting and reading graphs to combat this (see 'Graph-reading').
