/mQDs: DOPA caused cytoskeleton rupture in cancer cells (SUM159A) and increased uptake in epithelial cells (RPE-1). In neuronal cells (SH-SY5Y), mQDs: DOPA promoted differentiation with dendrite lengths comparable to retinoic acid (RA)-treated cells.
