/For the LP speaker, the envelope of the TRF magnitude at the latency time of interest (34 ms) when the speaker was attended significantly exceeded the envelope when the speaker was ignored for 17 out of 22 subjects (p < 0.001). On the population level, the envelope of the TRF magnitudes in the LP-A condition was 26 ± 3% higher than in the LP-I condition (mean and standard error of the mean).
