/We observed that the number of colonies formed 72 hours after transformation was slightly higher for NSCC than Stbl2 E. coli strains. The colonies were classified as subcloning colonies, recombinant colonies, and satellite colonies. Growth efficiency was lower, and contamination probability higher for extended incubation periods.
