/Two different animals were used with two different constellations of the setup... The 7-day-old larvae of Malacoceros prefer light in the turquoise part of the visible spectrum, showing a clear peak at 505nm. The displacement tapers off towards the yellow and ultraviolet parts of the spectrum until no reaction is detectable.
